Board of European Students of Technology

Board of European Students of Technology (BEST) is a non-profit, non-representative and non-political student organisation aiming to provide communication, cooperation and exchange possibilities for students of technology since 1989.

BEST reaches over 1 million students in 33 countries with the help of 95 LBGs (Local BEST Groups). We strive to help students learn in new and more non-formal ways, and to become more internationally-minded by introducing them to cultures around Europe. We do this by organising academic courses, engineering competitions, educational symposia and leisure events.

Students are given the chance to set aside cultural, national and language borders and interact with other like-minded students of technology, exchange valuable information and have fun while learning.

Local BEST Group Aachen

In November 2012 we became a recognised student organisation of the RWTH Aachen, and in November 2013 we were accepted as an official member of BEST. Since then the group has grown and organised local soft skill training events and internal events for the organisation, as well as the local round of the international EBEC engineering competition, open to all the students from RWTH. The group currently consists of 15 active members.

Right now we are working on our next big projects: another EBEC edition in December and our first seasonal Course on Technology in May.
